"Porter's Lodge (Entrance to the College of Charleston's Cistern)" Plein Air version/first application

The day started out to be a beautiful, cloudless sunny day; a real nice change from the cold grey, dreary weather we have been experiencing the past few days.  

I had to get myself downtown to paint the live oak tree lined streets at the College of Charleston.  Hopefully, I will paint back into this to formalize the shapes of the shadows lacing across the street and up onto the sidewalk and building front.  

As it is I am pleased with the result.
