"Lunch in the Shade"

9"x12" Oil on Linen mounted on board
This is that massive oak tree along with a couple of others shading the moms with their littles ones picnicking at the park.

"Oak Tree in the Old Village Park"

8"x10" Oil on Linen mounted on Board
This is a massive Oak Tree which shades one of the cutest parks. Little voices squealing with laughter filled the air as I painted this today.

"River Boat House" SOLD

8"x10" Oil on Gallery-Wrapped Canvas SOLD

I photographed it a little "tilted". . . perhaps I'll re-post it so it doesn't "lean"

Let me know what you think!

"Downtown Firehouse - Queen Street" SOLD

9"x12" Oil on Linen SOLD
What an interesting facade. The elements which attracted me to paint this - aside from the fact that it is an historic site - were the juxtaposition of the arcs and curves with the upright and linear planes of the building.
In addition to these elements, I love the organic shape of the palm tree and the street made of river rocks against the strong structure of the buildings.

"Corner of East Bay & Exchange" SOLD

SOLD

10"x8" Oil on Gallery-Wrapped Canvas

I always loved this little corner (also at the intersection of Broad Street and East Bay). It has a quaint "European" feel. I especially loved how this tree twists as it grows.

As my friend, Leslie, stated when she saw it, "every artist deserves a "red dot." For those who may not know, a red dot indicates a "sold" painting.
