Old Bald is the name of the granite-faced mountain which overlooks Fairfield Lake within one of the most beautiful locations in the region: Camp Merrie-Woode, an all-girls summer camp in Sapphire NC.

"Sun Lovers" (aka: "Kristin's Sun Lovers)

Prior to painting "Snowballs in Summer" I found these lovely pink Cone Flowers against the dark green background and thought they'd work on the small canvas format I had. When I brought it home from Cashiers NC, my daughter (who loves anything PINK) and I thought it would be an appropriate addition to her bedroom decor.
