18"x24" Alla Prima Oil on Belgian Linen Canvas Painted form life. While I plein air painted on a rural property (a small farm with horses, chickens, dogs and cats) outside of Charleston, SC, the kind and generous owner gave me a dozen of her chicken's freshest and most beautiful eggs. I had to paint them before I ate them. This is also a study in "whites" an exercise in monochromatic color scheme where any color beyond "white" is found in the focal point.
