The first of three paintings today. I may go back into this one and "push" those Cypress trees a bit more.
In this vingette, I was drawn to the shapes of the tree line, the long picket fence at the edge of this yard and all the shadows created by these.
It was a perfect day to be out. And this neighborhood is one of the finest places to paint!

What a beautiful little street scene. I can't decide if I like your illuminated picket fence or gorgeous sky holes the best!
Thanks, Shirley. You are right, this little corner/intersection is something wonderful! You should come and see the entire little neighborhood! Just charming!! I love to paint here. And it all backs right up to Charleston harbour which also offers incredible views to paint water scenes. Thanks for your comments.
