I included this painting in the "Charleston Churches" series because of this Bed & Breakfast's reputation for being a premier Honeymoon spot in Charleston.
It was originally built by a Bride's father as a Wedding Gift. The house's architecture is reminiscent of a Wedding Cake and it is just beautiful. It is surrounded by trees and bushes which secludes, and secures it from the busy touristy street corner on which it is located. I had my chance at peeking in when I found this gate open on the side of the property. You can see the beautiful color with which the gardeners plant the grounds. You can see the tranquil scene within the property. What a beautiful place to Honeymoon!

One of my favorites ever! I really do feel, with the framing of the gate, that I am being drawn into these beautiful grounds. So inviting! I love the colors and the dappling of sunlight amongst the shadows! You have captured such beauty here!
(See...I'm trying to do better on saying WHY I love something instead of just "I love it!") ;)
Love you!
