Jennifer is a friend whom I always enjoy painting and whose company is always a delight. She was getting up from a 20-minute pose to take a break when she looked up at me like this - I shrieked, "Hold that pose!!!" and painted her just as she sat. Sorry, Jennifer, no break.

Again, we opted to stay indoors to paint a still-life rather than brave the cold (I know, we're pathetic! 40 degrees and breezy is just too much to bear).

All in all, it was a fun day to paint!

"Sunflower Blooming"

It was COLD outside despite the beautiful clear sunny sky. . . our painting group opted to stay indoors and paint this still-life of sunflowers.

This is actually the second of two that I painted today.

I wanted to pull back a little bit from the original point of view and re-adjust the still-life on the format again. So I ended up with two!

Grassy Winter Path
